It's Thursday!!
Outside my window... The last two days were gorgeous! We've enjoyed temperatures in the high fifties. It was a good day to walk around in the BIG city yesterday, so we did!
I am thinking... Thinking about moving, of course. Thinking about projects. Thinking about selling things.
I am thankful... I am thankful and still rejoicing that God see's fit to answer our prayers. It makes me smile!!
Psalms 88:2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
In the kitchen... I am thinking chicken for tonight. Maybe homemade pizza tomorrow. Mexican Chicken Soup for the weekend.
I am wearing... It's early yet. The house seems quiet. I am in my pajamas! I did perm and trim my hair last Thursday. I am very pleased with the results.

I am creating... I bought a cute watch face at Cracker Barrel for my niece, Joy, last weekend. We'll probably do a craft this afternoon.
I am going... I am making brunch reservations for Sunday, if I can get them, at THIS place. It will be a fun drive in the country in our new to us truck.
I am reading/watching... We've finished two of the series the we LOVED . . . Tales of the Gold Monkey
and Crusoe.
We're looking for another good family series.
I am reading a book I found at the thrift store called Spiced to Death by Peter King. It's very good and seems to be pretty decent.
I am praying... I am still praying for the Lord to prepare the way for our move. We are continuing to pray that we'd be able to transfer to San Diego early. We're hoping as early as March or April. Praying for my family both far and near.
I LOVE this first place.
This one is nice too. Not sure if it has a garage though.
A small house with a great shop!
From the learning rooms... My students both have essay's due tomorrow about their trip to Washington D.C. The eldest student has to write 300-350 words about her favorite part of the trip. The youngest student, also about his favorite part of the trip, but I'll settle for a good paragraph in his best handwriting!
Around the house... The things around the house are not looking too bad. I probably need to vacuum and dust. Dishes in the dish washer are clean.
One of my favorite things... I love my family. I am so thankful that God gave them to me. Here are some pictures of the last few days.
Ready for church! Hair and makeup by Aunt Beth
1st subway ride!
Waiting for the ferry
On the FREE Staten Island Ferry viewing the Statue of Liberty
Catching the light reflecting off Lady Liberty
We're watching the seagulls fishing in the ferry's wake. the pretty skyline was a bonus!
Lunch at Chelsea Market with Uncle Stacey who was going to get his sushi at the time this picture was taken.
This table was too cute. I had to take a picture. It was reserved for private parties.
I love Chelsea Market!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Saturday may be a day with Bachelor David. Still trying figure out how the weekend will go.
Something to Share... I found out this week that my former roommate (in our pre-marraige days) and good friend Morina, had surgery for A pre-cancerous Pancreatic tumor this week. It sounds as if the surgery to remove the tumor and affected area of the pancreas was successful. Her doctor hopes that the successful surgery will be enough and that she will not have to have to do radiation or chemotherapy. Pray for a miracoulous healing for her. She's married and the mother of three children, two still at home, the youngest being 12 years old. My heart is very heavy for her and her family.
