I do love me some good movie houses. Since my last post, I have been keeping an eye out for such homes.
A child of the 70's, I have always loved The Brady Bunch. I LOVE their house. I even had a Cindy (barbie) doll.

I love to watch movies that film in California. I love California, it is such a beautiful state. Gorgeous scenery. California made popular the 'ranch' home movement in the 1960's.
I love the original Parent Trap and am a big fan of Hailey Mills. I also loved Brian Keith as I've always thought he looked like my Dad and could play him in the movie version of my life :-)
I especially love the kitchen in this house. It resembles so many of the kitchens in the houses we've rented the past 28 years. This kitchen even contains my very own juicer! It sits on the counter to the left of the coffee pots you see in this shot!
I also love Doris Day and her movies. She was so stinking CUTE! And she could sing.
This is the apartment from Please Don't Eat the Daisies. I am not a fan of apartments myself. I loved how this one was decorated. . . . .AND that kitchen!!
And the couch and chairs and library all around! |
all the books, flowered drapes and beautiful Doris Day! |
Wild At Heart. This last house is from a show we found on DVD from Netflix with Hailey Mills as the Grandmother. The scenery was gorgeous! This house is not real only a set house built on a game sanctuary in South Africa. The first 3 seasons of the show were great and then it got a bit sappy and the story line much like that of a soap opera. The scenery of the house interior and exterior= WONDERFUL! |
Hope you enjoyed Favorite Movie Houses Part 2
