A Fall Saturday

Yesterday, #2 son and I had a date with my friend Allison and her daughter Sienna.  Allison took us to a farm to choose pumpkins.  #2 son doesn't even realize what pumpkins mean to Halloween.  He calls them "Punkin Pies!"

Every day, more and more fall colors appear in the trees.  The air is crisp and the days are getting short.  I enjoy the temperature now and the beautiful colors found in nature.  I get a little depressed thinking about the next season...WINTER.  Winter is definitely not my favorite season.  Now if only winter was about food and not snow, ice, rain, Cold, Cold, Cold and Cold!  I do enjoy winter foods:  Casserole, Stew, Soup, Roast Turkey, Hot spiced cider, hot coffee, Roast Beef.....

  1. No.  He's too young for a girlie-friend.  Your friend (the mom) is just so cute with her curly hair and sweet smile.  Didn't you mention that she's from England?
