Terrific Tuesday
I went to the library yesterday. I checked out several cookbooks. I love to browse them to get ideas and copy recipes. I've heard about a cookbook I wanted to view I found it yesterday. I must highly endorse the cookbook, the writer and her blog.
Hey, I ordered that for my Christmas present to myself. It is a great read. I love all the pictures. I checked out her blog and found out she is a homeschooler, too.I love it down here in SD. We've ate at an awesome mexican place and yesterday we took advantage of Sea World's free tickets. Today we're hanging out and relaxing a bit. Probably taking the boys to a playground. The weather has been great, too. I won't rub it in ! Hugs!!
@jessnboyz - Wish I could be there! You should try to go the beach at Shelter Island (it faces the navy base airstrip) and have a fire in a firepit. The other drive that is nice is the drive to Julian (for pie) and up by Lake Cuyamaca. It will be chilly this time of year, but is a beautiful drive. The other beach that is fun is the Silver Strand just south of Coronado. Did you see that yet? Hotel Coronado is beautiful. The other fun thing is to see the para-sailing out at the La Jolla cliffs. Did you go to Old Town? Have fun...again I wish I was there to show you around!
What a joy to stop by for a visit again!! As usual, you get my tastebuds going! Thank you for the link; it looks like a wonderful cookbook. Wanted to wish you a Blessed New Year!
YES!! Pioneer Women!! I've been using her Ranch dressing for almost 2 years now! I've got to go to her site more. Thanks for a reminder Ms. Beth. Ms. Elsie
