~~It's Thursday!~~

Outside my window...  It's supposed to turn a tad cooler today and spread some rain this afternoon.  Right now, and all week for that matter, has been gorgeous.  70 degree days.    Beautiful fall colors exploding around the surrounding area. 

I am thinking... I am thinking of moving.  I am thinking about projects.  I am thinking about winter.  Soon I can look forward to a fresh start, with fresh faces.  I am thinking. . . I am not a patient person. 

Psalms 84:11   "For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."

  I am thankful...   I am thankful for the "good things."

From the learning rooms...   Mom is a bit under the weather today with 'girl stuff'  Since we are working on skill building, Dad took over the school duties today!  Yippee for that!

In the kitchen...  For lunch today, Seafood bisque.  It is my first time making it.  It doesn't taste as good as the one I remember from Chelsea Market in NYC.  My manly man brought home bread from Amy's Bread in Chelsea market to go with our Bisque.

 

Remember that dessert from last week?  We did make it.  It turned out very sweet.  In fact it was too sweet for my taste and I only had a couple bites.  I think It would have been better with cereal only containing peanut butter flavor. . .ours had chocolate and it was just too sweet.  But it IS ALL GONE so it couldn't have been too terrible!

Around the House...  Around the house,  I duted the floors the other day,  washed my bedside rugs, washed the dogs crate bedding, I have two fall scented candles going.  I smell soup too.

I am wearing...  It's a frumpy day today.  I AM showered and dressed.  Turquoise, long sleeved tee and denim A skirt.

 I am creating...  I've made progress in my projects.  The bible covers were mailed to two Grandma's.  I'm halfway done on a project to send to Mississippi.  I've cut out the camper curtains.  Thinking about photo albums, selecting Christmas pictures, and writing our Christmas newsletter.

I am reading/watching...   
I just started this sereis last night.  So far, the innkeeper is cooking some really great foods for her Bed and Breakfast.  I've yet to take a peek at the recipes at the end of the book.

Our Murdoch mysteries continue to entertain ((Murdock Mysteries.))  We are also watching "The Thin Man" with William Powell and Myrna Loy when Bachelor David is here.

I am praying... I am praying for answers to prayer.

I am hearing...  A quiet house.  Not sure what the boys are doing.  I think schoold is done already.  

A few plans for the rest of the week:   Tomorrow is family date day.  Were going to the mall to walk around, eat at the food court and go see a movie.  Not sure what we are seeing as it is #2 son's choice.  He'd love to see either Cars 2 or Real Steel.

My manly man starts 5 days of graveyard duty on Sunday night.  I'll probably have Bachelor David over to eat Sunday afternoon. 

We've also talked about going geocaching one last time before the weather turn too cold.
