~~It's Wednesday!~~

Outside my window~  Warm and beautiful.

I am thankful for~  I am thankful for so much.  Too much to list.  I am thankful for my husband.  For my home.  For my stuff.  For my children.

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which ye are called in one body;
 and be ye thankful."

Colossians 3:15

From the learning room~  Both myself and my student are spending a lot of our time reading.  I am reading through the New Testament and am in the book of Luke.  My student devours books from the  library almost the same day as they are brought home.

From the kitchen~   The kitchen cupboards are kinda bare.  I need to stock up and I am waiting until it was closer to pay day.

Monday~

Tuesday~

Wednesday~ Grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken and rice soup with cheese

Thursday~  Baked cod with cheese topping, rice a roni, wilted spinach

Friday~  Homemade pizza and coca cola

Saturday~  Grilled chicken, baked sweet potato, green salad

Sunday~  Corn dogs and tator tots, corn

I am wearing~   Still not dressed.  In my robe.  Yep, it feels good too!

I am creating~  I will soon be creating some new curtains and decorating my new toy.  Yes we finally bought a camp trailer on Sunday afternoon.  We've been desiring one for many, many years.

I pulled these pictures off craigslist so I don't have a picture of the camper open except for the one of the table.

I'll be sewing new privacy curtains.  The ones that came with the camper are pink.  Not too manly looking.  I'll either do a blue or a green curtain.
Eventually. . .we'll be building a toy hauler trailer for my husbands TOY-ota.

(similar to these)

I am thinking~ Thinking about the joys of summer.  Thinking about friends.  Posting a few more pictures of our Annapolis, Maryland trip.  Our friends Chris and Sharon were able to join us for two days of sightseeing

AAaarrrgghhh. . . PIRATES!

  I am watching~

 Little Men

and Road to Avonlea

We've also seen all of the episodes of Shaun the Sheep cartoons and LOVED them.  NETFLICKS is reasonably priced entertainment.

Favorite Things~  Not sure what to say in this category this week.  I have so many favorites.  Fishing tops my favorites list right now.  We went fishing on Sunday after buying the trailer.  My husband caught some poison ivy and we caught a neat fish.  I left the camera in the van

(This is a cute picture though. . .all the buddies fishing together!)

Around the house~   Needs vacuumed, needs dusted, clean dished need put away, beds need made, hummingbird food needs made.

I am praying~  Praying for our transfer season. The 'shopping' list should come out soon.  Praying for far away family.  Praying for my husband.

Something to share~    I am thankful swimming.  Yes, I participate in mixed swimming.  Hopefully I am teaching my son's about controlling their eyes and their thoughts.  My swim clothes are modest.  Most of the other Mommies I've seen at the pool are modest as well.  I've dropped 5 pounds and 2 and 3/4 inches since starting swimming.  I am not too unhappy with my body.  I feel I have a matronly shape.  I'd be happier with myself if I lost about 10 pounds.  But my BMI is  within an acceptable range.  Normal Is 18.5- 24.9 mine is 23 right now.   My weight isn't bad.   My son and I are having fun!  That's important to me.

p.s that's not me on the left . . .

~~Have a GREAT week Friends!~~

  4. @victoriantomboy - A canvas free of mold and mildew.  No holes or tears.  Working parts. Look for areas that may leak.  Easily repairable.   Don't pay too much for one.  We paid $1500.00 for ours but have seen them even less.We are 'thinking' about coming to TN to see the family in July.  I'll keep you posted.  I want to see you(meet you) so bad!  Unfortunately, there are no active duty jobs for my man in TN.  We really want to go back out to the west coast.  Maybe he will consider being closer to his folks when he retires.  I don't know.

  5. @betheelou - you most DEFINITELY keep me posted!!!! How long does he have til he retires?Ive been wanting to go camping so bad here lately. I guess its because I have no "restrictions." Ready to just pop a tent in the back yard when it rains!!! But Jimmy is so busy, he just cant right now it seems.

  6. @victoriantomboy - Probably one more 4 year tour.  He is thinking about what he wants to do.  We've also started an aggressive savings plan recently.Maybe you should just go find a fishing hole.  It gets you outside.  You can home and build a fire pit and roast hot dogs and still sleep in your own bed.
