Gently toss apples with sugar and cinnamon; arrange in the pie crust. Sprinkle with topping; bake at 350 degrees until apples are tender, about 30 to 40 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
Crumb Topping: 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 c. wheat germ 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. flaked coconut
Combine first 4 ingredients; cut in butter with forks or a pastry cutter until crumbly. Gently toss in coconut.

| 18-1/2 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix 1/4 c. applesauce 4 eggs, beaten 11-oz. can mandarin oranges | 8-oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed 3.4-oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix 15-1/2 oz. can crushed pineapple | Combine first 4 ingredients together; mix well. Pour batter into a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center removes clean; set aside to cool completely. Blend remaining ingredients together; spread over cake. Keep refrigerated. Serves 16.

Ohhh, my Hubby would die for that Apple Pie! And it looks like such an easy recipe! One that I would actually enjoy doing! ( 8 And I love anything chicken, so Chicken Bake, here I come! YUM!
