It's Thursday!

Outside my window... Snow again...6-18 inches.  We are once again on the border between a bit of snow or a lot of snow.  We'll see.

I am thankful for... Scripture verses I can apply to my life.
"The beloved of the Lord shall dwell safely by him;
and the Lord shall cover him all the day long"

 Deuteronomy 33:12

"...be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things."
Joel 2:21

I am wearing... Long denim skirt, Pink 3/4 sleeve tee, white ankle socks and my white tennis shoes.

I am praying for...
Wisdom

I am creating... I've already started to cook some of my meats for when my nephews are here.  I've got a pork roast going for barbecued pulled pork sandwiches and venison pieces for beef tips with gravy.

I am enjoying... I will be enjoying this tommorrow night...
The Velveteen Rabbit

The Velveteen Rabbit

From my kitchen... Creamy White Chili, Cornbread muffins and green salad

  Around my house...
Enjoying getting cozy for the big snow.  My chili is simmering, a cinnamon candle is burning,  It's feeling cozy!

From the learning rooms... Continuing on with vowel sounds and special sounds in words.
(click on the scans to them bigger size!)

(Sully to U Dad)

(Dad I want to learn how to play risk)
(So they played last night on the computer.  #2 son likes this game a lot because of all the little plastic army men!)

A few plans for the rest of the week...
Cooking and cleaning for my company...arriving Tuesday evening.
My manly man will be working on that car project.  If school and work are canceled tomorrow, maybe they'll get a lot done together

One of my favorite things... Being blessed to stay home and minister to my family!

  5. @mamaof2bugs - I pull the pork and just add barbecue sauce.  I have been making a cole slaw with  horseradish sauce that tastes wonderful with these sandwiches!
