It's Thursday

Outside my window... The temperature is creeping upwards.  I have spring fever very badly.  I am thinking about ideas for flower beds and container gardening.

I am thankful for...
My nephews.  What great children and a pleasure to be with.

I am wearing... Long denim skirt, Light blue 3/4 sleeve tee, white ankle socks and my white tennis shoes.

I am praying for... Still praying for wisdom.  For myself and my husband and others.

I am creating... Nothing creative going on today.  Got my thinking brain going about being outside.

I am enjoying... Found another series on my movies by mail from blockbuster.com,  Agatha Christie's Tommy and Tuppence.  Very good!

Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime - Tommy & Tuppence, Set 1

From my kitchen... Comfort food for me...salmon patties, mashed tators, garlic broccoli...maybe chocolate brownies.

One of my favorite things...  I sure like the scent of this cinnamon candle.  It must be only a seasonal candle.  Holiday Cinnamon.

From the learning rooms... Continuing on with vowel sounds and many special sounds in words.

A few plans for the rest of the week... A field trip tomorrow.  Off to Connecticut to visit  the Coast Guard Academy

Around the house...  Boys, Boys Everywhere!

Leaving you with a picture thought...

Our little helper!

  3. Hmmm. I'm wearing black exercise pants, pretty 3/4 sleeve t-shirt. Ate chicken, mushrooms and spinach. Watching a restaurant show. Creativity? Not today! School? Kids go to Public High School. My own schooling: ecclesiaonline.com.   Looking forward to: Oldest son and family coming on Sunday. Warmer weather. Walking our favorite trail and taking more pictures! Okay, enough for now! Have a great field trip; my redhead would LOVE to go!

  7. @Autumnlove413 - Yes we are using the  A Beka Kindergarten this year.  I have books for 1st grade too.  Not sure what I'll use after that.  A Beka is okay but there are a few things I don't care for.

  8. @Richgem - What a nice school!!  Your redhead should check it out.  Nice campus.  Small class size.  Free education.  They have opportunities for tours and week long 'get aquainted' type activities.  Check it out!

  9. is that a car door in the house? hmmm.. now i'm curious. :)Agatha Christie is a favorite of mine.. i've read all her books, and i think seen every movie. it's been awhile though so i think i might have rent another - - my husband thinks it's crazy i could watch a mystery movie twice. "don't you already know who did it?" but honestly - i forget. i think they all run together in my mind so i'm surprised every time! :)have a great new week. <3
