Bits

I did not design this kitchen.  If I had it would be perfect.  I think a bachelor designed the layout of this kitchen.  What do I like about this kitchen?  Well....I LOVE that the fridge has an ice-maker and water in the door with TWO water filters!!  That's all I like...seriously.

I grew frustrated last week.(I know hard to believe that I could become frustrated right?) Frustrated at my ugly kitchen.   The faucets were ugly and the sprayer hose doesn't work.  Our house has very low water pressure and the sprayer has never worked right.  Yesterday I went out and bought a new faucet set up.  I've put faucets in the kitchens of the last 4 houses I've lived in...all the same style faucet too!

Now I can put big pots under the faucet and fill with ease.  Thank you #1 son for helping me finish this project.

Isn't she pretty?  I just need a plug for the sprayer hole.

All is well in the dog department too.  Sierra, the big chocolate lab is having a great time at our doggie spa.  She has rested well each night, even snoring.  She looks at us and smiles!

Have a great day friends.  I am going to go play with my sink.

  5. @SealedbyGrace - We don't have enough water pressure to run the sprayer.  I don't think I'll miss it too much as I never used it.  Sometimes we barely have enough water pressure to shower.  You can't run the washer/dishwasher and try to take a shower.  Love Ya gal!

  6. I wanted to finally come visit!! How do you know HOW to install a faucet?! I'm impressed! It really looks nice. I have a similar one in the basement where I do my canning and freezing and am so very thankful for it as I can wash large pots now with ease! Have a great Friday! ~Blessings

  7. @threejoys - I worked on a farm for 5 years growing up.  I am proud to say, I can do most things if I set my mind to it.  Don't tell my husband!  Sometimes he thinks I should do stuff like one of the guys!

  8. @threejoys - p.s.  I can do car stuff too!  I replaced a heater fan blower motor by myself in a driveway in January 2002!

  9. I grew up on a farm also!!!!! But I can't claim any of these things that would bless my dear hubby! You are something else! What a blessing! I'm not always confident that I will get a picture hung being centered!! I grew up on a dairy farm - wonderful place, wonderful parents. We didn't have much money and we worked hard but we had plenty of love to go around. I'm very grateful for my childhood days.
