The Turqoise Dress!!!!!!! You posted it!!!My uncle got married in 1988, and their bridesmaid dresses were similar to your prom dress. (except for short sleeves, and they were royal blue, not turqoise) I was 11 at the time, and thought they were the most beautiful dresses in the world! Ahhh, the world of puffed sleeves and satin!Have a Great Weekend!!!
@Elizabethmarie_1 - My wedding dress has serious puffed sleeves. I stuffed tissue paper in them so they would stay sufficiently puffy! That color turquoise is still one of my favorite colors, on myself.
Ah, my beautiful sister! I love your smile, and your pretty blue eyes. I will always remember watching you get dressed up for dances and I thought you looked so amazing and I couldn't wait until I could be like you. I'm still waiting.
@onehappymomma - I like you just the way you are. Maggie asked me what you were like. I told her you were . . ." everything I am not. She's PERFECT."XOXO, Beth
I bet your shoes were dyed to match the dress, right? I wore a pink puffy sleeve dress as a bridesmaid and I had pink shoes dyed to match. The dye turned my feet pink. lol You were and are still so pretty!
Tissue Paper in the sleeves of your wedding dress?!?!?! NO way!!!! I've heardof "stuffing" in some places but never in the sleeves.....I wonder if it will ever come back (puffy sleeves that is)
