ReplyDelete@thechaplainsdaughter - I DID draw the picture!! Come over any day! You'd be welcome here! He probably hasn't forgotten. . .he does have duty on Saturday that he has refused to trade with someone else so we can actually go somewhere during our anniversary.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a delicious menu. I should post mine for the week. Spent all Saturday canning tomatoes and got my kiddos to help out! That rosemary bread sounds sooo good! Hope you have a wonderful anniversary and that your honey didn't forget! :)
ReplyDelete@fourkidsonemom - I used the jalapeno's from garden last week. One got chopped and saut-ed to be added to cheese sauce for #2 son's nacho lunch. The rest I diced and added them to the Gumbo I made for yesterday's lunch/dinner. It was spicy Gumbo, but sooo good!
ReplyDeleteI am sure he has not forgotten........ BTW, what are weiner boats? This weeks menus looks great, better set a few more places at the table
ReplyDelete@oldfatgramma - A hot dog cut in half lengthwise (almost all the way through but still attached together), with a pile of mashed potato on top with a slice of velveeta sandwich cheese on top of the potato. Baked for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until cheese is browned and bubbly.
ReplyDelete@betheelou - I thought maybe it was a hotdog cut in half lengthwise with cheese inside and wrapped in Pillsbury crescent roll! Haven't had that in ages!
ReplyDelete@oldfatgramma - They used to serve wiener boats to us in public school lunch in Oregon.
ReplyDelete@betheelou - You are very talented! It reminds me of the drawings in like gooseberry patch stuff! I love it! On my way
ReplyDeleteTeriyaki chicken sounds wonderful. A few days ago, I was thinking I should make some, then I promptly forgot - thanks for the reminder
