I am so happy that spring is here!
If you were here with me you'd see my happiness to have winter over.
Spring makes me think of one of my favorite colors, PINK.
Yes, I love PINK.
I'd have a totally girly, PINK bedroom if I didn't have to share it with my manly man.
I might even have a lot of other things PINK in my house if I didn't have to share with the guys.
!!THINK PINK!!
SPRING IS HERE
I love pink, it's my favorite color!!!
ReplyDeleteI see pink everyday...I have 4 daughters! LOL But yes, it is lovely to have spring here...although we are moving right into summer already.
ReplyDeleteI like pink but I don't love it. I am sooo glad spring is here. I love that the flowers are starting to bloom and the grass is greening up. My DIL has 3 girls and she never liked pink until the girls outnumbered her.
ReplyDeleteYou're so pinkin' cute, Beth! I like pink; the more subtle hues, though. Like in the flowers in your second to the last photo. Those are gorgeous! Have a great rest of the week! Love, GAil
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty pictures! I too, like pink! Enjoy your spring day! My friend came over and helped me with some planting today, I'll post some pic's when everything is in place and looks good.
ReplyDeletep.s. I love the bedroom picture--maybe we'll have a girl, she'll be so spoiled!
ReplyDeleteI'm just sort of chuckling here because God have you one manly man and two manly boys. Hmmm.. and even a boy dog. At least the cat is a girl.
ReplyDeleteLove it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad spring is here! I love pink, too. Any shade is fine with me! I'm hoping to get some flowers in the ground before long. We're hittin' 80's this week, so I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteYou know, manly man just might like to have a pink room!!! My bedroom is geared to more feminine and Jim Dear doesnt mind it one bit. I heard a survey once that said about 75% of men like feminine bedrooms. The other wanted animal prints, leapord looks!!! LOLMy bedroom, kitchen and dining room are all on the feminine side. Everything else is deer, indians, etc. All that "guy stuff." (which I enjoy too!)
ReplyDeleteoh yeah......is that your pink rooster> it is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete@jimsruby - Yes the rooster is mine.Thankfully, my manly man doesn't comment on decorating too much. Our tastes are not quite the same. He has never complained aobut he decorating though. he likes that i keep my house clean and organized.
ReplyDelete@betheelou - do you mind me asking where you got the rooster?!?!?! I am in love with it!! And I'm not "into" roosters!! It would look so pretty on a table with tea and scones!
ReplyDelete@betheelou - when Jim Dear and me discuss remodeling, decorating, etc., when have always thought alike. I guess that makes for good marriage! lol I have seen so many argue over petty things like that. And as far as keeping the house clean....we have found a medium. Kinda had to. When I have a fibro flare, I CANT do anything. So sometimes, the house has to go. But....growing up, Jim Dears mother was so strict with thier house, they would get in trouble for wearing shoes thru the house! And my dad, now, I loved him, but he had some ways! We never had air conditioner or anything growing up, so all doors and windows were opened in the summers.. We had chickens. Dad would let them walk right and and let them do their thing. And mom wasnt allowed to argue. Hubby and I were raised very different to say the least. We agreed to meet in the middle! And that has always worked for us. He doesnt want it spotless, I dont want it .....well.....like daddy had it! We want a home thats lived in!
ReplyDelete@jimsruby - I honestly can't remember were that rooster came from. I am guessing it was a present from my Mom and she probably gave it to me 15 years ago. Maybe its from the thrift store??
ReplyDelete@betheelou - shucks!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I have that same exact rooster but mine is not pink, it's like a cream color, received it from my mother in law awhile ago.Did you paint yours?
